Amir Naderi received the Venice International Film Festival’s Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker 2016 Award

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award is the annual prize established by Jaeger-LeCoultre in association with the Venice International Film Festival
to pay tribute to personalities who have contributed to creating and bringing life to the art of filmmaking.

Jaeger-LeCoultre attaches great importance to honour a unique artistic vision.

Yesterday, in the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema, Jaeger-LeCoultre Communication Executive Director Laurent Vinay presented Amir Naderi
with the Glory to the Filmmaker award for his significant contribution to a new era of Iranian films, alongside Alberto Barbera, Director of the 73rd Venice International Film Festival.

Following the award ceremony, the 73rd Film Festival presented the out of competition screening of Naderi’s new film Monte, in its world premiere in Venice.
