NYF’s TV & Film Awards will honor Tony Petitti, Chief Operating Officer of Major League Baseball, with the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award. The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes prominent industry leaders whose accomplishments and contributions have advanced their field and made a lasting impression on the industry.
2017 TV & Film Awards Finalists include: Victoria, Before the Flood, Super Bowl 50, 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, David Attenborough's Light on Earth, Roots, Jean, MARS, Years of Living Dangerously, Killing Reagan, and The Circus: Inside The Greatest Political Show on Earth, and many more.
Since 1957, York Festivals International Television & Film Awards® has recognized the World’s Best TV & Films℠, honoring programs in all lengths and forms from over 40 countries.
Each year, New York Festivals, in collaboration with the United Nations Department of Public Information, honors programs that focus on global concerns and best exemplify the aims and ideals of the United Nations with the United Nations Department of Public Information Award (UNDPI). UNDPI award winners will be presented with their trophies at the 2017 ceremony.
