The Spanish race to decide the best films, directors, actors and film professionals of the year has begun. Forqué Awards, FEROZ® Awards, MEC, Gaudis, etc… all giving hints before the Goya® Awards, due in Feb 9th, 2014.
On Friday, EGEDA announced the list of final candidates to the XIX Jose Maria Forqué Awards, named after one of the most important Spanish producers. A 30000€ Award.
93 feature films, 58 documentary films and 3 animated films released between Dec 1st 2012 and Nov 30th 2013 participated.

This year there is a new award: Special EGEDA Award to the Best Latin-American Film.
EGEDA is one of the impellors of the newly created Platino Awards due in Panama in April 2014.
The Special EGEDA Award to the Best Animated or documentary Film, worth 6.000 €, will be revealed during the Gala due in Madrid, January 13th 2014.
