On Wednesday 29 January, Lions Club L'Esprit du Temps will give the Hubert Bals Fund Lions Film Award to a promising filmmaker whose film has been supported byIFFR's Hubert Bals Fund and show clear involvement in societal and political issues. In addition, another Lions Film Award is given to a film from the Bright Future section of IFFR 2014.
At this closed ceremony in Rotterdamse Schouwburg, the winner of the Hubert Bals Fund Lions Film Award will receive a cheque of €20.000 for his or her nominated film.
The films from the Bright Future 2014 section that are nominated for the Lions Film Award are:
