Orobie Film Festival – the international festival of mountain documentary and fictional film, is an event organized by the Association Montagna Italia.
The Festival took place in Bergamo from the 18th to the 25th of January.

For what concerns the photo contest, the winners are:
- Andrea Zampatti’s “Tramonto sul Maniva” for the section titled “OROBIE E MONTAGNE DI LOMBARDIA”
- Pietro Cavalosci’s “Opi” for the section “PAESAGGI D’ITALIA”
- Mauro Rovaris’ “I colori della preghiera” for the section “TERRE ALTE DEL MONDO”
For what concerns the cinematographic contest, the winners are:
-Paola Nessi’s “In viaggio sulle Orobie” for the section “OROBIE E MONTAGNE DI LOMBARDIA”
-Andrea Frigerio’s “Patabang” for the section ” OROBIE E MONTAGNE DI LOMBARDIA ”
-Massimiliano Riotti’s “Amico Barba Bianca” for the section “PAESAGGI D’ITALIA”
-Valter Torri’s “Il pastore e la montagna” for the section “PAESAGGI D’ITALIA”
-Stefano Ardito’s “Scienziati sul tetto dell’Asia” for the section “TERRE ALTE DEL MONDO”
-Antonino Rando’s “Le village suspendu” for the section “TERRE ALTE DEL MONDO”
Then the jury gave the prize called “Premi Montagna Italia 2014” to:
-Giovan Battista Cagninelli
-Mario Curnis
Part of the evening was also consacrated to the 60th anniversary of the K2 climbing, made by Ardito Desio’s expedition in 1954.
For the occasion was showed Marcello Baldi’s film “ITALIA K2”.
Moreover, the Ev-K2-Cnr Committee is organizing a Pakistan expedition from the 31st of July 2014 that is following the same K2 climbing, as Agostino Da Potenza said in a video interview realized by Montagna Tv.
