The 29th Goya Awards ceremony took place last night in Madrid, The Spanish Academy Awards members awarded the film 'La Isla Minima' ten times, winning the most imortant Goyas such as Best Flm, Director, Actor, Original sript, Photography and music amos¡ng them.
A never ending ceremony, hosted by Dani Rovira who also won Best New Actor, had in Antonio Banderas one of the momentum of the night when the Spanish actor received his Honorary Goya from his mentor Pedro Almodóvar.
Later during the show Pedro and Agustín Almodóvar went back in stage to collect the Goya for Best Latinoamerican film, Relatos Salvajes (Wikd Tales). This argentinian co-production will be fighting for the Oscar for Best Film in a Foreing Language againt anoher winner Ida, Best European Film.
La Isla Minima lead the nominations with 17 and took 10 "cabezones", bigheads, the nickname for the Goya Awards.
