"I am delighted by the award because the BAMkids festival is a true gem not only for children and their parents but also for filmmakers. The program helps to cultivate children to be independent thinkers and also cultivates encouragement for independent filmmakers. It's very festive, intimate and engaging!" - Akiko McQuerry, Director of Papa Cloudy's Restaurant "It is an honor for us that the BAMkids Film Festival audience has recognized our film Help Me Remember which shows a realistic, but gently optimistic view of Alzheimer's. With the BAMmie award, we have the opportunity for this important story to reach a far greater audience." - Fran Casanova, Director, and Tania Balastegui, Actress/Executive Director of Help Me Remeber ### The International Children's Media Center (ICMC) is a non profit organization dedicated to transforming the way children use, view and engage electronic screens.
