ITFS – Nominees Animated Com Award | Theme day Animation and Advertisement
The nominees for the Animated Com Award at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film have been selected!
With more than 80,000 visitors and 2.500 professionals each year, the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is one of the biggest and most important animation festivals worldwide. In addition to the competition categories International Competition, Young Animation, Tricks for Kids, Teens and Tricks for AniMovie, the ITFS presents, since 2011, the Animated Com Award, with prizes for applied animation in the categories of advertising, spatial communication and technology.
The jury has chosen 50 high class films, from 137 submitted international productions, for this year's shortlist of the Animated Com Award. Twelve of them were nominated for the three prize categories. The selection shows the whole spectrum of applied animation ranging from classic puppet animation to CGI productions. The clients are as diverse: nominated are, inter alia, spots from Honda, Vodafone and Audi, the BBC trailer for the Winter Olympics and the campaign for more regulation in the international arms trade by Amnesty International. The Shortlist program of the Animated Com Award is shown on April 24, in the Gloria 2 cinema, Stuttgart.
Here you can find the list of the nominees.
